Thanks for your interest in my work.
A little about me:
After a childhood of journaling, drawing, music-making, and kayaking with my dog, I studied Classical Music Performance at Le Conservatoire de Musique de Québec in Canada and then English Literature at McGill University.
Since then, I have completed an MA in Creative Writing at University College Cork in Ireland, published my work in The New Yorker, Field, and The Stinging Fly, and received Eyewear Publishing’s Fortnight Prize.
I am an author-illustrator of children's books, including Shore Buddies: A Guide to Making Friends at the Beach and Gnome at the Laundromat, which was shortlisted in the Atlantic Writing Competition.
My debut poetry collection The Remaining Years was released in 2019 by Kelsay Books.
I now live in the Far North of New Zealand with my partner Jeff, our dog Boots, and a handful of cows.
